ITC4FLL Bilateral Commission: constitution and role
1. ITC4FLL bilateral commission will be formed by at least two and a maximum of three representatives of the Educational Authorities from each region.
2. The commission will meet on four occasions as stipulated in the project work plan, twice in each region.
3. The commission’s role is to plan the project detail, to agree reciprocal methods of working and communication and to clarify difficulties of interpretation or implementation.
4. The commission will represent the views of the project partners and consult with them internally in each region as appropriate.
5. The commission undertakes to monitor the progress of the project and to be responsible for the evaluation and the reporting.
6. In order to achieve these objectives, the commission will determine at each meeting the agenda, the distinct roles of members (to act as chair, to record the minutes etc) and the co-opting of other participants in the project as deemed necessary.
7. As part of the scheduled meetings, the commission will visit relevant partners in each region to see progress at first hand and to become acquainted with the relevant institutions.
8. Meetings will be conducted in English, but Spanish may be used as decided by the chair at each session.
